I’ve been on an ugly/cute fix lately, and these adorable and repulsive spiders satisfy that pretty well. Look at their shiny little eyes, their weird ‘fur’ and curves that you can pretend are their mouths! I want to hug them, but I also want them to die. SO CONFLICTED.

I don’t know… I really don’t like spiders, and while they themselves aren’t gross in my opinion, their movement freaks me out. I couldn’t hug something like that unless it was the size of a dog and a lot slower, then… maybe? *shivers* Probably not.
Talk about cuddly cuteness! This brings back memories. I used to live in a canyon area as a kid, and I had lots of tarantulas to play with outside. My mom and I were always at odds over whether spiders were lovable pets or something to be squished upon site. I still have issues with people squishing them in front of me.
I have a horse ranch in Florida. Oh yes, we have some very large and creepy spiders around! I was on a “Paid” trail ride and a women brought about 9 girls with her. As we were going through the deep woods, I noticed the women had a HUGE spider crawling all over her back and her head and she didn’t even know it! I was mortified and I didn’t know how to handle it! I was afraid if I told her, we could have a bad accident with all those Children on horseback! I have lived with guilt for years because of this! I really have a hard time being in the presence of any arachnid! It is something that I feel I really need help with. I see the way they move…SO mechanical. It makes me wonder what God’s thoughts were when he created them! I personally can’t see God creating such a thing so, over the years I have come to the conclusion that they are alien spies and are not of this world.
