    One of my mom’s long time friends hates cats and actually tries to get my mom to get rid of ours. Why? Because cats kill birds and she loves her garden songbirds. Try explaining to someone who is just dead set in hating something that it is actually we humans who kill far more birds with toxic spills, habitat destruction and skyscraper/building collisions.

    I disliked her instantly when I found out.
    Life is too short to make friends with people who hate cats.
