I sure hope that there are lots of insects in Detroit, cause this guy looks pretty hungry. It’s my pleasure to introduce Armani to you, the latest addition to the Detroit Zoo aardvark habitat. He was born a couple weeks before 2009 got underway, but he’s the still the cutest baby critter since 2008. Methinks. Especially after a little photoshopping.

Ultra Kawaii has done a great job of putting together this top ten list of the cutest things on the Internets this past year. Most of these you probably have seen before, here on Snuzzy as well, but are there any that didn’t make this list that you think should have been there? Watch the video with Dave and Josh and then leave a comment and link if you think that there was something that didn’t make the cut, but should have!

I think that this one is totally PAWESOME because all ten of the animals in this shot are looking (more or less) forward and at the camera. My guess, though, is that this was not the only shot that these Corgis posed for that day. ;-)

If you have had one or more of your pets pose with Santa, send your best shot in to snuzzy(AT)dogster.com! Dogs, cats, birds, iguanas, whatever.

I will do my best on Christmas Day to post EVERY picture that comes in to me. (Gulp.)

The Scroogey submission guidelines are:

1. Re-size your image for me (no wider than 600 pixels, please)
2. Your pet(s) must be posing with a real, live Santa. No Santa cut-outs, no pets in Santa outfits… unless a REAL, LIVE Santa is in the shot as well.
3. Picture does not need to be current. Have one from 20 years ago? Send it in.
4. Only one image per household
5. Deadline is 12:00 midnight, December 23 (Yep! That’s tomorrow night!)

Aight pawty people, let’s see what kind of a collection we can get together!

So if you got a kick out of the cat flushing the toilet video that jumped right into the SNUZZY HALL OF FAME, you’re probably going to like everything that Parry Gripp does. It’s all top-notch goofy. Silly doesn’t get any better than Parry Gripp, as can be seen in the appropriately titled Hamster on A Piano (Eating Popcorn), seen below.

Yeah, that’s right. Super cute.

And then there’s this amazing piece of work starring a Chimpanzee Riding on a Segway. A must see as well:

And remember Spaghetti Cat? Gripp does a great tribute to that hungry little feline:

If these vids aren’t showing up in your reader , you can chill out and watch them over here.

And check out all of Parry Gripp’s work on his website.

I think I should preface this one by saying that my guess is that the dog in these photos just wanted to play with the little furry brown thing. I can’t imagine he actually wanted to eat it. He’s far too cute for that kind of behavior. ;) That said, the little furry brown thing’s mother wasn’t having any of it. The last image is classic. Check it out:

Hey, evrybuddy, Skeezix heer. I’m just gonna sqweeze in on Snuzzy cuz I saw this grate story that was too sadly Snuzzilicious to keep to myself.

A couple of days ago in San Francisko, a gorilla mom had a baby. A reely KYOOT snuzzilicious baby. Ixsept she didn’t qwite see it that way, and once the baby was born, she went out for a snak and never wint bak to her baby.

Heer is the baby crying, “Ware’s my mama?”

Heer is a pikcher of his mama:

His mom’s name is Monifa, and she is an endanjered lowland gorilla. If yoo ask me, she shood go without a few snaks and pay attenshun to little Sparky.

The San Francisko Zoo has desided to look for a surrogate mother to take care of the baby gorilla. I think I’m gonna send them an email and volunteer for the job!

I’m heading back to sunny California tomorrow, after a week of freezing up here at this place, but in case I miss the snow once I get back, I can always bundle up and watch these little guys frolic around in the powdery white stuff:
