Check out this adorable little creature–it’s a vicuña, which is a South American camelid that lives in the high alpineous areas of the Andes.
This shot was taken by Flickr user Alexander Yates at Lake Titicaca in Bolivia. (Come on, you haven’t been able to say “Titicaca” without smiling since fourth grade when you first heard of it. Why stop now?) You can see more of Alexander’s amazing photos here.

This image is part of the Snuzzilicious group over on Flickr. If you’ve got some super swell pet or animal images that you’d like to add to Snuzzilicious, and maybe even have them show up here, hop on over there and add away!
I ran into this amazing shot while looking through George Fisher’s travel shots. If this doesn’t epitomize “awwwwwww,” I don’t know what does.

You can check out more of Fisher’s Bhutan images here, and see his online portfolio here.

The heat is on in this friendly little chase in Benin, where Flickr photographer Jonas Van de Voorde captured these two warthogs on the move. Check out a beautiful higher resolution version here!

Long, long ago in a Belarus far, far away, Flickr user icono snapped up this close-up of a snail doing his (her?) thing. That’s why I say, “Hey man, nice shot.”

This great shot is part of the Flickr group Snuzzilicious. Stop by and check out the other pawesome shots!
Ain’t nothing like a guy and his dog under a pier. This cool pic comes to us from the island nation of Barbados, thanks to Flickr user carolynhack!
