This dog balances on a ball! Adorable! Apparently his owner takes him for walks around their neighborhood on his ball. More reasons I wish I lived in Japan. (via Buzzfeed)

Oh my! This outing looks more like an ordeal for the darling doggie than a casual ‘walkies’. I bet the cutey pie is completely exhausted after one of his ‘ball walks’ and wishes s/he’d never made know his particular ball skills.
The dog’s look to the owner at the end of the ‘ball ordeal’ suggested to me that the dog was trying to communicate “ok, that’s done with for now … just forget I can do the ball thing”.
Nevertheless, it made me smile.

The Mysterious Orient. That pup was on a loose leash. He could have hopped off, but did not. My two Afghan Hounds refuse to do things if they are not in the mood. My older dog will plant her front feet like steel girders, refuse to budge and roll her eyes up at me. I think that dog’s skill is amazing and the pup’s look at the end was soulful hound eyes saying, “OK, now the cookie?” I’ve taught my Afghans many tricks that they are very proud to perform with big smiles on their chops and sparkling eyes.
