The Dachshund and Pink the Pig

We found this cute pair over on D for Dog.

This Dachshund is fostering this little guy for another mom who couldn’t take care of him. He had his eyes closed, but now they are open. He is just a little bigger than her other pups. She loves this little guy as much as the other puppies and she is nursing him back to health.

    It touches my heart when there are inter-species fosterings and friendships. It’s my dream that one day our own species will get along and love one another like some of the unlikely animal combinations I have photos of nursing, napping and hanging together.
