… the world would be a much less snuzzy place, that’s fer shure.
Following is a great take on what it’s like to own A BUNCH of dogs–a bit of viral snuzz that wagged and slobbered its way into my inbox this week.

I could walk around the yard barefoot in safety.
My house could be carpeted instead of tiled and laminated.
All flat surfaces, clothing, furniture, and cars would be free of hair.
When the doorbell rings, it wouldn’t sound like a kennel.

When the doorbell rings, I could get to the door without wading through fuzzy bodies who beat me there.
I could sit on the couch and my bed the way I wanted, without taking into consideration how much space several fur bodies would need to get comfortable.

I would have money…and no guilt to go on a real vacation.
I would not be on a first-name basis with six veterinarians, as I put their yet unborn grand kids through college.

The most used words in my vocabulary would not be: out, sit, down, come, no, stay, and leave him/her/it ALONE.
My house would not be cordoned off into zones with baby gates or barriers.

My house would not look like a day care center, toys everywhere.
My pockets would not contain things like poop bags, treats and an extra leash.

I would no longer have to spell the words B-A-L-L, F-R-I-S-B-E-E, W-A-L-K, T-R-E-A-T, B-I-K-E, G-O, R-I-D-E
I would not have as many leaves INSIDE my house as outside.

I would not look strangely at people who think having ONE dog/cat ties them down too much.
I’d look forward to spring and the rainy season instead of dreading ‘mud’ season.

I would not have to answer the question ‘Why do you have so many animals?’ from people who will never have the joy in their lives of knowing they are loved unconditionally by something as close to an angel as they will ever get.

How EMPTY my life would be!
**UPDATE! Do YOU have a big group of dogs? Do your best to get them to sit still for a group photo and send it in to anders/at/dogster/dot/com. I’ll post the best group photos next week on snuzzy.com and post all entries on the Snuzzy Flickr account!!**

So true!
Great stock lol ;)

Right on the money. Sounds just like my house with 12 dogs and 3 cats. I just love getting home from work and getting all the love from my family!
Trueeeeeeeeeeeeee, inspiration.. LOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!
(and my Dogs of course…)
My loving family is very LARGE in number, I raise Dachshunds and they are all Angels to me. Life and dogs – the best.
I WISH I had this problem! I’d love to have a whole herd of dogs. Alas, no room, no yard… As soon as we get a house with a fenced yard, we’re getting bunches of dogs.
So true! Adorable pics! Thanx for the smiles ..
lol…awesome,i love those pics
We live with 4 greyhounds and foster another as well. Loved the comments…ditto ditto ditto!
One word … FANTASTIC!!!
just perfect!
I’m down to only one chihuahua at this point but have always had animals around..you’ve described life with pets better than anyone could. They ARE angels!
Those who don’t “get it” are missing out on one of the most beautiful lessons and love the universe has given us!
Kudos to you!
That doggie looks very deep in prayer! lol … He is definitely praying for a bone. However , I think hes barking up the wrong tree.
I’ve never had so many dogs, except when my dog had her babies, but I remember that we had sixteen cats once!
I have 2 cats and 1 tiny dog right now that are my kids. I love them no end and consider them my family. Some no-petsfolks think that’s kind of nuts, but hey…they have NO idea what they are missing!

I loved the comment about figuring out where everyone would sleep. I have a Greyhound-Shepherd, Cockapoo, and CockerSpaniel. They are all very particular about where they settle down in my bed and if one gets in the other’s “spot” there is heck to pay. I am lucky to find a place for me! But, I could not think of trading the inconvenience considering the love I receive each day from all three!
maybe if your animals were trained, you wouldn’t need baby gates or to give up your bed, and your house wouldn’t look like a daycare either.
I have animals too, but my house is very clean because as a result of training they like to stay in one area as long as they can see me, baby gates are a sign of a lack of training.
when i purchase a house i’m gonna start a rescue in my house, dogs, cats etc. i always find strays and locate their home or find one for them.
What is with Mik? I wonder how happy his dogs really are.
Whats with Mik? I wonder if his dogs are happy.
lol thats funny
AWWW!!! If We Didn’t Have Dogs… http://tinyurl.com/ae8e4z [via @dog_luvr ] I love this!!
@itspeep Knew you’d like that too! ☺ {RT AWWW!!! If We Didn’t Have Dogs… http://tinyurl.com/ae8e4z [via @dog_luvr ] I love this!!}
I think its fair comment about the lack of training. Dogs are completely happy when they know where the boundaries are. I have happy pooches who are not allowed on the furniture.

Great post! I love the pic with the doggies in the snow. I can’t imagine life without dogs.
my house is clean as well with out baby gates but it depends on yout definition of clean. I have pet toys everywhere but it makes my home look lived in not dirty. Training can make a difference but cleanliness has nothing to do with training.
ABSO-BARKING-LUTELY!!! WOULDNT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY, OR CHANGE IT FOR THE WORLD. I LOVE MY 3.
