Did you know that nearly twice as many cats watched the Olympics in Beijing than did humans? It’s true, and I would TOTALLY link to my source right now if he wasn’t purring away in a deep sleep…

That means that inspired kitties all over the world are gearing up for the 2012 Olympics in London, getting their hops and their jumps and their balancings all sorted out. Thanks to Ultra Kawaii for piecing together this great collection of these amazing cathletes in training!

    Aw! That’s funny. My cat Tamika has been competing in the pommel horse event since Athens, in 2004. It is true that it is a men’s event, but they made allowances for her gender after they made an allowance for her species.
