That was very cute and funny. Believe it or not it reminds me of washing my Afghan Hounds. They do not like being wet. They love walks, but hate rain on their fur. I've tried many coats, but none work. They must stop every few yards for a giant SHAKE. I wash the dogs in the shower stall one at a time. No collars or bandanas and I am the same. Their basic message is get me OUT of here, like Max in his baking pan. I have a giant stack of towels at the ready, but there are not enough towels in the world to dry two Afghans, who must roll all over my bed, tangle the quilt, and knock off the pillows before resting in towel #14.

You have to watch the dogs watching a dog DVD, then you can see what it's like after bath time. My dogs are happier being clean and groomed. Well meaning but dopey people should not criticize loving and responsible pet owners.
