		<description>@Lancelot, hedgehogs, even the nicest ones, are almost always pokey when you take them out of their cage. Hedgehog emotion can basically be gauged by the angle of their face, if their forehead spikes slant foreword they&#039;re upset (and the rest of their spikes are spiky) but if their forehead spikes are laid back, like in the second picture of him eating, they&#039;re calm (and the rest of their spikes kind of feel like scaly fur). They have short fuses and are almost always little hisspots when you take them out of their cage, but Max will instantly calm down the second he can uncurl into my hand.

@Christine, he&#039;s surprisingly squishy! He actually lost a bunch of weight by the time I took these pictures, and he could easily fit through the door when he&#039;s fat. Kind of like an octopus, he can fit through any hole that&#039;s as big as his head. But he&#039;s slimming down by the minute.</description>
