I totally want one to cuddle while I'm at school. Except school says I can't have snuzzy things, just fishies.
Fishies aren't cuddly though, which is very sad.

Max is maximum snuzz: pointy on the back, adorable face and soft underbelly fur! Holy Hedge Hog, I would get one in a second if I could not hear my two Afghan Hounds' mental telepathy: "Tasty hors d' oeuvre!" They were bred to hunt creatures like Snow Leopards, so if I got a Max, they would think, "How thoughtful--a tasty appetizer." Do not be upset, Brad, you should see them with squirrels!

@Christine yup, they're moles! They like to burrow in their bedding and they're most active at night. For a while we were housesitting at a place with dimmer lights, and we would put them on the dimmest setting to trick him into thinking it was dark even though we could still see him. And he's so active at night! He runs around his cage and plays with his toys and looks like a little bear.

@Daisy Amex is actually really good about Max, she's never been even remotely aggressive towards him. Usually she's just confused. (Our old roommate's cat used to constantly bat at him though--good thing he'll never see that cat again)

@Sidonie Yeah, their underbelly is soft fuzzy fur

Max looks rather comfy in that shoe. I tend to think of them as creatures from Shakespeare: Hedgepigs!!!! He seems to really like that chicken... mmm... chicken... is what he seems to be thinking. I'm confused though... Are they fuzzy underneath?

Hedge Hogs are moles? Who knew! I think of them as creatures from Monty Python: 'Edge 'Ogs. Anyhow, if I were one, no amount of chicken would compensate if I were forced to watch those idiotic shows. Like Max I would crawl into a box or smelly sneaker to escape.
