This really is an incredibly beautiful creature and I must say I loved watching it get tickled. BUT-
purchasing a loris is illegal and it contributes to the mistreatment and abuse of these creatures. They are poached to sell to tourists and we really don’t do them any favors by owning them. Better to help protect them and their habitat than spending money to have one in your house. Sorry to be a spoiler but it is true.

Fascinating! What interesting creatures. I had never heard of them, so I just assumed Slow Loris was his name, kind of like Fast Eddie or Fat Albert! Thanks for the info, Anders.

A slow loris is, well, a primate, and a very cute one at that. They are of the genus Nycticebus, if that means anything to anybody... Click on the picture to find out more ;-)

He is ridiculously funny and cute. Just what one needs when the team gets a touchdown! Now, I am wondering, WHAT type of animal is he?? He looks kind of like a ferret with raccoon eyes. Please tell us!
