Did you know that you can keep snails as pets? Well, not in America, but in other countries, such as the UK, many people own giant African land snails as pets. They’re banned from many countries because if they get loose they can wreck havoc on an ecosystem, but as pets they are apparently loving, intelligent, and appreciative of human contact. Here’s some videos people have posted on YouTube of their pet snails in “action”.

    What the…?! I had NO. IDEA. that snails got that ginormous!! I can’t decide if I’m freaked or fascinated. Maybe a bit of both.
