It’s a period of cuteness war. Rebel Cats, striking from a hidden base under the futon, have won their first victory against the evil Dog Empire.

During the battle, cat spies managed to steal secret plans about the Dog Empire’s ultimate secret stash, THE GARBAGE CAN, a human storage facility with enough noms to feed an entire litter.

Pursued by the Dog Empire’s sinister agents, Princess Amex races home to the Rebel Cat base under the futon, custodian of the stolen plans that can restore noms to her belly….

Bemol and His Bunny Friend

Bemol is a cute little kitten who has a fluffy little bunny for a best friend. And that all was going quite well until Bemol tried to eat his friend. The moral to the story is: Don’t try to eat your friends.

Buster the Hare’s Workout Video

This is Buster when she was tiny. Even back then she had a LOT of spring in her hop:

Now Buster’s all growed up and is still hopping around, and has even released an awesome workout video… Before you watch the video and start exercising with Buster, a little bit about her:

Buster is a female Irish Hare. She’s been living with my husband and me ever since she was a leveret only a few hours old! Unfortunately she’s blind so she’s not suitable for release in the wild. In this video she’s just over 1 year old and she’s doing her sprints and jumps around the garden!

Now, the video. Basically, just push play and then copy everything that Buster does. The turns and twists, flips and jumps are guaranteed to give you a great workout, although it is a bit HARE-y at times… ;-)

My hat goes off (actually it flew off) to Buster and her family – what a inspirational little ball of cuteness! To find our more about Buster, check out her blog, or see her early days as reported by Cute Overload.

Bunny Hop

For the average pet rabbit, the daily routine involves nothing more strenuous than chomping on a carrot.

But life is very different for the Haslam household’s six showjumping bunnies.

Under the guidance of twins Mathew and Thomas, they have learned to leap over miniature fences in the back garden.

The 15-year-olds, who live in Doncaster, have owned rabbits for nine years, but decided to teach them to ’showjump’ after being inspired by a video on the YouTube website.
They set up obstacles in their garden and encouraged the pets to bounce over them by leading them on a leash.

The boys’ mother Brenda, 46, said: ‘I think the whole thing is brilliant.
‘The boys love rabbits so we have always kept them and they have been brought up with them.’

Both boys have Asperger’s Syndrome, a type of autism, and working with the rabbits – often for seven hours a day – has helped with their condition.
Mathew said: ‘We are really excited about the finals. We just hope our rabbits don’t get stage fright on the day.’

Taking You Under My Wing

These little bunnies, about 6 days old, were attacked by a dog and orphaned. Two out of the litter of five did not survive, and these three were not doing very well.

Noah is a non-releasable, one-legged homing pigeon that we have here in rehab. Noah kept going over to the bunny cage and looking in…even sleeping in front of the door to the cage.

Then, 2 days ago, I only counted 2 bunnies in the cage, so I hurriedly picked Noah up from the front of the cage so I could look inside. And to my surprise…there was the tiny bunny…under Noah’s wing…sound asleep! The bunny had crawled through the cage….preferring a featherbed, no doubt.

Now, they are all together, and the bunnies are doing GREAT. When the bunnies scoot underneath Noah’s feathers, he extends his wings out to surround them..and they snuggle. When one of them moves and they start sticking out here and there, he gently pushes them back under him with his beak!!!!! This is amazing!!!

Westinghouse

A lady opened her refrigerator and saw a rabbit sitting on one of the shelves.

“What are you doing in there?” She asked.

The rabbit replied:

“This is a Westinghouse, isn’t it?”,

To which the lady replied “Yes.”

“Well,” the rabbit said,

“I’m westing.”
