Are you seeing things like this around the house this morning? Totally cute, but remember: cleaning up 1,000 small piles of tinsel or wrapping paper is a lot more of a pain than cleaning up just one, so don’t let fluffy spin out of control!
We all know it takes a lot of hard work to pull off Christmas each year, but this video makes it look easy and fun. It’s all about teamwork, people, all about teamwork!
Maybe y’all were just too busy to send in your Santa Pet Pix this year, or maybe my Snuzzbox is on the fritz, because I only got TWO submissions… But I do have to say two things: 1) these two that came in are TOTALLY PAWESOME and 2) I’m sort of glad that this post is going to take me 5 minutes to submit, and not 60, as it is Christmas Day and I just got out of one nap and am about to get involved with another! Without further ado, here they are:

This photo was taken one month after our Jerry’s
amputation from osteosarcoma when doctors gave him three months to live.
Jerry went on to survive nearly two years, proving them all wrong while
traveling the U.S. with us teaching people that it’s better to hop on three
legs than to limp on four.
We just lost him in October, when the cancer finally took its toll.
Christmas will just not be the same.
Thanks to Karen, Jim and Rene for sharing these Christmas snapshots with all of us. If you’d like to find out more about Jerry and his goodwill efforts, you may do so at Tripawds.com.
I think that Jerry’s message is one that is inspirational to all of us this holiday season, regardless of how many legs we walk on:
It’s better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.

This holiday season, it’s important for us guys to do our best to stay out of the doghouse when it comes to giving our lady friends gifts that are “not very romantic.” While I, for one, have never met a suitcase that I didn’t like, there are certainly women out there who might not really appreciate the Samsonite Graviton 31in. Spinner Upright. I know, I know. That is hard to believe:
But if you want to avoid being put in the doghouse this Christmas, there’s still time to return that coffee maker, the external hard drive and that soldering kit and get something that will score points. This JC Penney ad wants it to be diamonds, but I think that’s a little extravagant considering this little recession we are in.
Anyhow, this ad is very funny and is worth watching. The Penneys are making it hard for me to embed it, so you have to watch it here or click on the image below. Give it a whirl and then come back and tell me what you think.
[Disclaimer: No dogs were injured in the making of this film, mostly due to the fact that there wasn't a single dog involved in the making of this film. This post was created based entirely on the usage of the word "dog," not on the presence of any. My apologies.]

I think that this one is totally PAWESOME because all ten of the animals in this shot are looking (more or less) forward and at the camera. My guess, though, is that this was not the only shot that these Corgis posed for that day. ;-)
I will do my best on Christmas Day to post EVERY picture that comes in to me.(Gulp.)
The Scroogey submission guidelines are:
1. Re-size your image for me (no wider than 600 pixels, please)
2. Your pet(s) must be posing with a real, live Santa. No Santa cut-outs, no pets in Santa outfits… unless a REAL, LIVE Santa is in the shot as well.
3. Picture does not need to be current. Have one from 20 years ago? Send it in.
4. Only one image per household
5. Deadline is 12:00 midnight, December 23 (Yep! That’s tomorrow night!)
Aight pawty people, let’s see what kind of a collection we can get together!
I can’t personally think of a better color combination. From entry to dismount, this cute little kitty really enjoys his adventure in the magical world of his fluffy pink Christmas tree.
No need to adjust your color settings. It is a pink tree. With pink lights. And black cat. ;-D
Don’t miss the mad ornament-boxing that goes on starting at 0:50!
