These are just a couple of the hilarious shots that are a part of Costume-Shopping 101 by Karen Nichols. If you’re still trying to figure out what you are going to do with your pet for Halloween, you need to read this super informative piece over at one of our other cool pet blogsThe Cat’s Meow. It’s primarily written with cats in mind, but I found that a lot of the advice carries over into the doggie costume world as well.
Those were the words that were scribbled across my desk when I got to the office today. So, for those of you who were wondering why there were nothing but dog photos today, hey look–I just work here. I do what I’m told to do, when I’m told to do it. That way I’m not trying on any cement shoes, if you catch my drift.
This is Griff, Si and Mox. They’re in charge and they’re not afraid to throw their weight around. Especially the little one.
Photographer Mark Rogers has been delighting the readers of Dogster’sFor the Love of Dog Blog for quite some time now, providing some pawesome weekly shots for creative readers to caption. You can see more of these captioned shots over at the dog blog, and you can also see the great shots that Mark took at the Bay Area Pet Fairhere. And be sure to check out his website to see his comprehensive range of photography.
This itsy bitsy came in to Dogster HQ today to show us all her perty little party dress. Turns out it was Frida’s (yes, this is she) birthday today so mommy dressed her up in her best little pertiness. She had two hats–a party hat and a sombero. Of course.
I didn’t ask how old she was. Ain’t polite to ask such things.
I always get all whacked out when I see a dog and a cat actually enjoying hanging out or playing with each other. But Foxy, one of the big winners in The Other Dog Show at last weekend’s Bay Area Pet Fair, seems to get along just fine with her little feline friend Banx! Check out this Dogster Video Exclusive:
Thanks for joining Dogster, Foxy! We’re proud to have you running with the pack!
