I have been thinking a lot about Pugs lately, after meeting a super funny one last weekend and then watching this video. And wouldn’t you know it… they’ve taken over Middle-earth as well…

Perhaps the best Oscar acceptance speech EVER was given last night by Japanese filmmaker Kunio Kato, who won the coveted trophy for his animated short La Maison en Petits Cubes. Here’s the speech in it’s entirety:
“So heavy. Thank you very much. Thank you, my supporters. Thank you, all my staff. Thank you, my pencil. Thank you, Academy. Thank you, animation. Thank you my company, Robot. Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto. Thank you very much. Thank you.”
Classic moment in film history. Thank you and congratulations, Mr. Kato. If you missed it, you can watch the clip here.

Daisy the Curly Cat stars in this cult classic, a rambling voyage inside the mad, mad world of catnip addicts. In a Pawscar-worthy performance, Daisy plays “Pansy,” an innocent young furball whose life of privilege and Fancy Feast gives way to a life of the shakes and the munchies after she crosses paths with “Shady Lady,” the local catnip dealer.
Rest assured that there is hope for Pansy, and that there is snuzz at the end of the tunnel! A tear-jerking performance gives way to a happy little ending in this catsterpiece. Enjoy the show.
Warning! Due to the content of this program, this feature may not be appropriate for curious felines.
