This guide (click here for a close-up view) is so spot on! The green areas highlight places you can touch, the red areas highlight spots to avoid. So true with the bellies! Cats hate it when you rub their belly, even when they seemingly present their belly to you–unless you’re rubbing their head! They’re so complicated. (via Julia Segal)

Perhaps you saw that video by that guy who kinda sounds like Cameron from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off claiming to teach you how to open a banana like a monkey (by pinching the bottom and peeling towards the stem). A gorilla at Busch Gardens responded with a video showing how monkeys really open bananas:
