Snuzzy reader Brad sent these pictures of his two Poms, and writes:
These are my two Poms. The little one is Candy(my baby girl) who I raised from a tiny, tiny baby. She was a foster, that I started off bottle feeding then kept her. The larger of the two is Chucky. I just adopted him from the Humane Society of Utah. I drove 7 hours to get him.
They both love to ride the Harley with me. I had their helmets custom painted. Yes, Chucky had one too, but he lost it somewhere. I used to tie it on, but it never came off, so I stopped(got lazy). Of course, that’s when it blew off, or he took it off. Anyway, they are the only family I have, and I love them dearly. Candy is my special baby though, because she is my guardian angel. She turned my life around when she came into my life. I was addicted to drugs/alcohol, but she changed all of that. I haven’t touched either, since she came into my life. So, that makes her very near, and dear to my heart. I am sure I will feel the same about Chucky, but I’ve only had him a few months. He loves everybody, and I can’t believe I found him in the shelter. People don’t realize, that you don’t need to go out and spend a bunch of money on these dogs. They are in shelters too, and I am hoping that Candy, and Chucky can help spread that message having both come from a rescue.
That’s great! Shelter dogs have so much love in them–we strongly encourage all readers to start their pet-hunt at a shelter rather than a breeder. If you have a shelter pet you want to show off on Snuzzy, send it in!
