Getting the pet joke drive for the Baltimore Sun’s Mutts blog up and wagging, they offer up this one. Warning: It’s a doozy.
Three handsome male dogs are walking down the street when they see a beautiful, enticing, female poodle.
The three males fall all over themselves, slobbering and hoping for a favorable glance from her. She notices this and decides that the first one who can use the words ‘liver’ and ‘cheese’ in an imaginative and intelligent sentence, can have her affections.
The sturdy, muscular black Lab speaks up and says, “I love liver and cheese.”
“‘How childish,” says the poodle. “That shows no imagination or intelligence whatsoever.”
The tall, shiny golden retriever steps up and says, “Um, I HATE liver and cheese.”
“Pitiful,” says the poodle.
She then turns to the last, and smallest, of the three — a chihuahua. He gives her a sly wink, turns to the golden retriever and the lab and says …
“Liver alone … cheese mine.”

That beloved Scooby Doo was such a charmer, his gorgeous prose flowing so trippingly off the tongue, and yet after months and months of “Buddy want a cracker?” your four-legged fluffball still can’t get a word in edgewise…
Have faith, there, pardner… with enough practice and determination, you just might be able to teach your old dog new a few new quips. Here’s a vid of some amazing pooches and their inability to keep their snouts shut. With talking dogs in the picture, it’s just a matter of time before they start giving speeches and running for office! Talk about hope and change!
Earlier today I was strolling through flickr, as I am known to do, when I came across this amazing piece of poodle. After gazing for a few seconds in total awe, I pulled in my gut a bit and stood up to look at my sad piece of pathetic self in the mirror. No, I do not have nice round poodly calves. And my biceps are as far from spherical as is possible. My hair: less Minnie Mouse than is desirable… I sat down again in front of this amazing piece of work, sadly accepting the fact that I just might never get my poodle on.
But then this awesome video on YouTube came my way and changed my life, lifting my spirits and giving me the hope that I had been looking for. Yes, the workout video that will take me by the leash and lead me into poodle infamy had finally entered my life. A couple hours a day of Poodle Exercise with Humans and I’ll be prancing around with my tail up high in no time…
