200 in dog years? A couple in Derbyshire, England, are trying to figure out if their pooch is the oldest one in the world.

The BBC reports:

Bella’s owner David Richardson, 76, said he bought the mixed breed dog from the RSPCA 26 years ago when she was “at least three years old”.

That would make Bella’s age more than 200 in canine years.

The oldest dog in the world?

Wowzers! The Guiness Book of World Records will need a little more hardcore evidence from the RSPCA if “Bella” is to claim the title of world’s oldest dog. Let’s hope they can dig it up!
