Lot of chitter-chatter happening on the cyberscopes about this one, so I’d better jump on that bandwagon and bring on the sheep. I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of LED sheep humor, right?

The Most Popular Snuzz From Last 30 Days

Along the same lines as segments that I remember from my childhood on That’s Cat and Sesame Street, let’s see if you can make your way through the photo-shopping and figure out what animals don’t belong in the following series of pix. It’s pretty tricky. Don’t get all worked up over it if you can’t figure it out. It’s just a game. ;-)

I shot this in Sweden and I personally don’t think that I’m going out on a limb when I say that it is perhaps the most amazing piece of cinematic beauty ever captured on film.

There are others who say that it is just a few seconds of a sheep saying Baaaaa.

TomAYto.

TomAHto.

Whatever.

If you can’t see the Baaaaa, you can watch it here.

Special thanks to Marsanne Petty, who just sent me a bunch of links to some pretty darned snuzzy stuff. One site that she recommended is called “Shorpy: The 100-Year-Old Photo Blog.” Here are a few shots from this amazing site:

“Best Easter Wishes.” Chick pulling flowers in small wagon.
Rotograph Company of New York, 1908.

May 1936. “Farmer of Franklin County, Kansas.” Medium format nitrate negative by Arthur Rothstein for the Farm Security Administration.

Officer Snodgrass of the White House police force holds a captured opossum that strayed onto White House grounds, May 6, 1929.
From the National Photo Company collection.

That opossum there is super scary, actually. Yikes!

It’s definitely worth checking out the full size images of the shots above, and that can be done here, here and here.
