Check out this adorable little creature–it’s a vicuña, which is a South American camelid that lives in the high alpineous areas of the Andes.
This shot was taken by Flickr user Alexander Yates at Lake Titicaca in Bolivia. (Come on, you haven’t been able to say “Titicaca” without smiling since fourth grade when you first heard of it. Why stop now?) You can see more of Alexander’s amazing photos here.

The only think missing here is a monkey, but I’m sure if Flick user Cyril Plapied had hung around long enough after getting this great shot, chances are he might have captured that scene, too.

Dogster and Catster were barking and meowing at the Bay Area Pet Fair this past weekend, and thankfully, we were not alone. I mean, we’re cute and all, but we’re far from snuzzy, so it was grrreat to be able to snap a couple shots of some of the snuzz that was either there to be adopted or just there to hang out and have fun.
