I just cant decide – there are brief instances when I find myself thinking, “Hey, that’s cool: circus cats.” But the rest of the time I find my thinking, “Hey… THAT’s cool? Circus cats?”

Between my last Afghan Hound Ralphie and my two present Afghans Greta Garbo and Audrey Hepburn, I had a Himalayan orange cat, whom I taught many tricks with a cat treat called Pounce. Jake would do anything for one of those. My favorite was “say your prayers.” Jake would cross his paws and put his head down over them. I did not try gymnastic tricks as he was quite portly and would have toppled over. So the gentleman in the video is a little off beat, but cats doing tricks? Why leave all the fun and treats to the dogs?

I think it’s kinda cool – the animals seem well taken care of and healthy. They don’t look abused like you often times see in traditional circus animals like elephants. Overall treatment of the animal is a main concern for me and it seems that his guy really loves his animals and is taking care of them.

Kinda odd, but hey…they sure are cute!

I can’t imagine a cat doing anything it didn’t want to do! The man appears to love his cats… I taught my tabby how to sit up and beg for treats and now he does it all on his own when he wants whatever I am eating.. so why not a circus cat

The cats look happy and well fed. Cats only do what they want to do. Quite possibly it is just play to the cats. It really looks like he loves them, and they love him back.
    I’m not worried.
