This brave little mouse entered a cheetah’s cage at feeding time and proceeded to eat her food. The cheetah sniffed the mouse and batted at it a few times, puzzled. The mouse continued to eat, and the confused cheetah left him alone. (Sent in by Snuzzy reader Delph)

I think that is really a Leopard and not a Cheetah.

That’s a leopard, not a cheetah. You are an idiot and the internet knows this.
and thats a gerbil… not a mouse
and its trying to play a tiny red piano, not eat the food.
very cool pic
actually… after clicking the link and seeing all the photos I think i agree with one of the posters of the original article… that appears to be a baby rat.
The tale gives it away it is a rat
Definitely not a cheetah
who the hell cares if its a gerbil or a leopard the pics sick…stop being stupid by posting those gay comments
its not cute its ridiculous. the cat has obviously been bred in captivity and brought up on dead meat. consequently it hasn’t a clue how to fend for itself in the natural world. just like 99% of humans.
I have recently received your site on Stumble. I created an account for my mom and checked the “animals” box. This picture was among the first stumbles. It’s good to see it again, such a great pic.
That’s no gerbil, that’s a space station.
lol John Woods. Don’t you have some guns to grab from law-abiding citizens?
Hahaaa, I laughed so hard at Martin’s comment when I scrolled back up to see the little hands poised to play.
thats not a cheetah it is a Leopard or Jaguar. Cheetahs don’t have the muzzle characteristics and they are a lot thinner. other then that this is an adorable picture, i just wanted to clarify that for ya.
That baby rat is retarded for getting that close to the leopard
SDBKR- you’re an idiot you have obviously never seen the remains of anything small and fluffy which lands in the exhibit of a carnivore even second gen born in captivity. p.s Leopard
That’s not a cheetah, that’s a yellow polka dotted gorilla.
Oh that piano comment IS hilarious when you look at the gerbil/rat/mouse’s hands!
Cheetah? You sure it’s not a leopard?
I am the leopard… of awesomeness
Lol..the comments are better than the post :P
That’s sure as hell a confident mouse!

Reminds me of Repacheep from the Chronicles of Narnia. He needs a sword!
“sdbkr – the cat has obviously been bred in captivity and brought up on dead meat. consequently it hasn’t a clue how to fend for itself in the natural world.”
Yeah, tell that to my cats that eat and kill anything they can get their hands on.
That is a leopard. You are a cheetah. I am the walrus. Goo goo g’joob.
“I’ll save you for dessert” – thought the cat
What a cheeky and plucky little fella! The cheetah is looking on it total disbelief!
Wait, that’s a cheetah wearing a leopard suit trying to snort a mouse wearing a rat suit…or maybe the other way around.
(I’m pretty sure the cleverly disguised mouse is playing Gershwin…)
Well, I’m pretty sure it’s not just that the cat has been bred in captivity – you think leopards OR cheetahs often waste their time eating baby mice, rats, or gerbils?
That’s fun and it has gone dilemma
Ummm, leopard not cheetah, but still cute.
Cats don’t need to be taught how to kill, it’s instinctual. They also love playing with their kill. This little rat is just getting a little of the old ‘So punk, tell me, do you think you’re lucky’!

Your MOM is a cheetah.
It’s a leopard, not a cheetah. You’re stupid.
D’oh! It IS a leopard, sorry people.
He’s not playing a piano or trying to eat, he’s attempting to use the force on the leopard. That rat/mouse/gerbil/mole/zit is most obviously trying to use Sidious’ force lightning on the poor unsuspecting leopard. The Sith hath risen again.
Is the leopard really a long lost Jedi? Find out in the next movie. Paw Wars: The Phantom Mouse/Rat/Gerbil/Mole/Squirrel attacks the clone Leopard/Cheetah/Mountain Lion/Dog
The force is strong with you Brad O’Farrell.
Reminds me of a parasite in a rat that attracts it to cats, whole story in here:

“As the wildcat sniffed him, Lenny was intensely grateful that his stroll had brought him here AFTER dinner had been served.”
I really love the daring effect of the mouse. I am so eager to know the fate of the rodent.
